The programme aims to create reflective project management professionals, with enhanced knowledge competence and multiple skills. This cutting edge interdisciplinary and cross-sectoralprogramme, designed with inputs from the relevant industries, will significantly strengthen and develop existing project management professionals’ expertise besides meeting the needs of new entrants or aspiring professionals. If you have decided to become a better project manager or, perhaps, for the first time, pursue a career in project management, this programme is for you.

.: Entry Requirements :.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline related toConstruction and Built Environment or Engineering or Information and  Communication Technology or Business, Management, Economics and Accountancy or Social Science or its equivalent in the related field** with a CGPA of 3.00 and aboveandwith relevant working experience of at least one (1) year;or
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline related to Construction and Built Environment or Engineering or Information and Communication Technology or Business, Management, Economics and Accountancy or Social Science or its equivalent in the related field* with a CGPA of less than 3.00 and with relevant working experience of at least three (3) years.
  • A professional qualification from a recognised professional body, or
  • Other qualification as approved by Senate from time to time,andwith relevant working experience of at least one (1) year.

* *Subject to approval by Senate

International candidates

  • Have at least IELTS of at least Band 6 or TOEFL of at least 550 if their first degree is from a university where English is not the medium of instruction.
  • International Candidates are also required to attend and complete satisfactorily the Bahasa Malaysia course by the University before graduation.



.: Delivery & Attendance:.

The minimum duration of the programme is three (3) semesters and one (1) special semester or one and a half (1½) years and the maximum is ten (10) semesters or five (5) years.

Classes will be conducted through after-office and/or weekend sessions.* This forty (40)-credit programme is offered by attendance at the Faculty of the Built Environment, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through formal lectures, tutorials, coursework and research project.
