This cutting edge interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral programme, designed with inputs from the relevant industries, will significantly strengthen and develop existing project management professional’s expertise besides meeting the needs of new entrants or aspiring professionals.

The programme seeks to produce knowledgeable and competent project management professionals who are ethically and socially responsible, and sensitive to the needs for promoting sustainability. Students are trained with skills to address project management issues, challenges and perpectives in the global context. Among others, the core areas given emphasis in this programme are principles of project management, project management professional development, project financial management, integrated project, research methodology and organisational studies. The interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approaches of the programme also allow exploration of other knowledge areas pertinent to project management through elective modules such as change management, information systems and telecommunications management, project management for information and communication technology, professionalism and ethics, construction site and safety management, and legal issues relating to project management. A heavy component of this programme is on research in a chosen specialized area within project management, with the aim of training students to be effective analysts and developing their skills for problem solving with scientific approach. This programme offers three (3) concentration areas, namely, construction and engineering, information and communication technology, and business.

Entry Requirement
  • Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline with CGPA of 3.00 and above; or
  • Professional qualification from arecognized professional body; or
  • Other qualifications as written by the Senate from time to time; and
  • Having working experience at least one (1) year; or
  • Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification in a relevant field with a CGPA of less than 3.00 at least three (3) years experience. 


A minimum score:

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Academic): Band 5.5; or
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT).
