Faculty Journal

Our faculty is proud to host several journals that showcase research in various fields related to the built environment and project management. The Faculty of Built Environment publishes four journals: the Journal of Design and Built Environment (JDBE), the International Journal of Property Sciences (IJPS), the Journal of Project Management Practice (JPMP), and the Journal of Surveying, Construction, and Property (JSCP). Each of these journals contributes to the advancement of knowledge within its field.

Research Centre

The Faculty of Built Environment has two research centres. The first is the Centre for Building, Construction & Tropical Architecture (BuCTA), which focuses on advancing knowledge in building, construction, and tropical architecture. The second is the Centre for Sustainable Urban Planning & Real Estate (SUPRE), which specializes in urban planning and real estate management. Both centres aim to enhance their respective fields through innovative research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Our faculty actively engages in partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, government agencies, and non-profit organizations both locally and internationally. These collaborations foster the exchange of ideas, facilitate joint research projects, and enhance the impact of our work.
